Metal Works
Jake was born in 1990 in Mt. Kisco NY. Currently he is living and working in Northern Westchester as an independent artist and custom fabricator. After studying art at the University of Colorado; in 2014, Genovesi returned home and began an apprenticeship as a welder. He quickly began to freelance for various designers, artists and art restorers and eventually founded J. Genovesi Metal Works.
Genovesi has completed large scale public sculpture commissions such as: the Fallen Sniper Memorial for the US Army, and he was a member of the team responsible for restoring Henry Moore's Knife Edge, which is located at the National Gallery in Washington DC.
As a painter, he's shown at small galleries including Oil & Oak in Katonah, NY, and Art and Sound Gallery in Greenwich, CT.
